I’m stealing this idea inspired to write this from Paul who got the idea from Aaron who stole it from Jess. It’s looking like the 12 days of blogging, right? At any rate, I’m not up to listing 100 things, so here’s 25.
- people who chew with their mouths closed
- people who don’t chew gum
- a fresh snowfall blanketing everything
- a snow day caused by #3
- broccoli casserole
- black olives
- cream of wheat
- grilled cheese sandwiches with tomatoes
- cannoli cake
- big dogs
- when my eyes don’t bother me
- technology
- Game of Thrones
- Empire
- Netflix
- reading
- writing
- blogging (no duh)
- unconditional love
- grandchildren (see #19)
- coffee
- bowling
- Army football
- euphoric recall
- Harry Potter
Hardly all-encompassing, but maybe you agree with a couple or are saying “ewwww” about a couple. Enjoy your day.
You forgot tractors. I can’t imagine anyone’s list of Things I like without the mention of tractors. Road graders are nice too. 🙂

Tractors would have made it to the top 100, but I had to let it go for the short list. “Tractors, YOU’RE FIRED.” I’m sure road graders are nice, but I don’t know what they are. Those things with the huge wide wheel thingy that they roll over new blacktop?

I can tell that you never lived on a gravel road (Big Smile).
A road grader is a big yellow beast with a blade on its belly. It drags the blade across the road to smooth out the washboarding and ruts that make driving in the country unpleasant and at times unsafe.

Oh a bulldozer, lol. And I have lived on a gravel road. I call that the bulldozerish blade thingy. And the ruts come back quickly.

I’m sorry Barb, but you know the rules. And seeing as this list of yours is 75 “Things I Like” short of the “100 Things I Like” requirement, I’m going to have to impound this shortchanged list for closer inspection. Uh… minus number 20—since I already have some of those. 😀

Lol I’m under a certain amount of pressure to follow those rules and add to my list. Alas, that’s a post for another day. Mortality is my topic du jour. Stay tuned….

Well!!! I see now that the two thugs I usually use to bring about an ABSOLUTE amount of pressure on others, TO FOLLOW THE RULES, (Vinnie and Vitto by name), are nothing more than a couple of old softies at heart—since you only felt a CERTAIN amount of pressure. But just you wait Barb, you’re not in the clear just yet. Those two knuckle-draggers are scheduled for more thug training in 2017. Then (Ah Ha!) you’ll be paid yet another visit, and this time I’m sure you’ll see the error of your ways, and give into ABSOLUTE pressure to follow the rules, instead of ignoring only CERTAIN pressure to knuckle under. As you can see, I’m not one to be trifled with when it comes to following the rules. Especially when those rules apply to lists that should be completed! 😀

I’m being positive today, so I won’t make any ewww comments 🙂 25 rather than 100 is sane, I agree with a few of them but am so sad we don’t get # 3 and # 4 here…

And first I read your response as “so glad” and I thought really? Then I reread and see “so sad.” This is one of the reasons why I love living in the Northeast of the US. The four seasons make this part of the world so beautiful. And ha! about the “ewwww” comments.

I like random list! Maybe I’ll have to make a post about that too! 🙂 Happy New Year, BaRB!
